On the special instructions of Chief Executive LESCO Engineer Shahid Haider, actions are being taken against LESCO officers and employees who facilitate electricity theft.
According to a LESCO spokesperson, a special operation was conducted in the Garhi Shahu area in Lahore under the supervision of the SDO of the GOR sub-division.
The LESCO team caught two customers who are stealing electricity through meter tampering, and the meter reader who facilitated the customer in meter tampering was suspended and directed to report to the concerned sub-division.
An application was also filed against both customers in the police station for electricity theft.
