The operation against electricity thieves in the LESCO region continues for the seventh day.
The spokesperson LESCO said that 411 connections in all circles were found to be involved in electricity theft during the operation on the seventh day.
He said applications for FIRs against all electricity thieves have been filed in the respective police stations, out of which 222 FIRs have been registered while 6 accused have also been arrested.
The spokesperson said among the connections to be caught were 2 agricultural, 12 commercial and 397 domestic.
He said 757,824 units have been charged in the form of detection bill after disconnecting all the connections, amounting to over 37 million rupees.
