Karachi: A young plumber was killed and another plumber was seriously injured when armed bandits opened fire on resistance during a robbery incident at a water pump and motor shop in Golimarki sanitary market.
The deceased youth has been identified as 25-year-old Daniyal son of Sabra and the injured person has been identified as 50-year-old Saleem son of Amir Ahmad Khan. Thus, the number of citizens who died due to robbery resistance in Karachi this year has reached 49.
As soon as the incident was reported, the police and Rangers officers reached the spot and started investigating the incident by collecting evidence from the spot. And there were 2 plumbers.
Two motorcyclists entered the shop with the intention of robbery and the shopkeeper’s son Nauman opened fire on the shopkeeper with his licensed 9mm pistol, at which the shopkeeper also fired and fled leaving his motorcycle on the spot.
One of the plumbers, Daniyal Sarpar, who was in the shop, was shot dead and the other plumber Salim was injured. According to the police officials, the police have started the investigation of the incident after collecting the evidence from the crime scene.
