Caretaker Punjab Minister for Transport Ibrahim Hasan Murad announced a massive indiscriminate crackdown against smog-emitting vehicles in Lahore.
In a statement, the Caretaker Minister made it clear that smog-emitting vehicles will not be allowed to run on the roads of Punjab.
He said that Safe City Authority and Transport Department will send mailer challan to homes.
He informed that that the help of Safe City cameras will be taken for the challan.
Ibrahim Hasan Murad clarified that a challan of up to seven thousand rupees will be issued while the smoke emitting vehicles will be closed at different places of Lahore.
