Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz summoned a plan to give interest free soft loans to small famers alike Akhuwat plan.
He stated this while chairing a meeting in Lahore today.
The meeting reviewed demand and supply of vegetables.
Speaking on this occasion, Chief Minister directed concerned officials to make plan for crops insurance. He also sought a report about work of Agri institutions. He said production of crops without research cannot be possible. He directed to take pre measures to overcome the shortage of onion and tomato. He directed to take measures for provision of essential items to masses on cheap rates.
Hamza Shahbaz also sought a report about cleanliness arrangements and available facilities in agri-markets of the provincie including Lahore. He directed to send videos and pictures of agri-markets in Chief Minister Office till tonight.
