Government announced not to increase electricity price

Lahore: Federal Minister of Energy, Engineer Khurram Dastgir has announced that the government will not increase the cost of electricity and said that the government will not burden the people any more.

He said that Thar Matiari line built at a cost of 15 billion rupees has been completed, with which new 2000 megawatt electricity generated from Thar coal is being added to the system. Despite not getting the IMF program, the government is working diligently in all sectors.
