Government announced not to increase electricity price


Lahore: Federal Minister of Energy, Engineer Khurram Dastgir has announced that the government will not increase the cost of electricity and said that the government will not burden the people any more.

At present, 68% of the votes are in the government in 2018, their mandate should be respected, small provinces have expressed reservations about elections in Punjab, in the review petition in the Supreme Court, it has been said that the responsibility of the elections should be handed over to the Election Commission. The power supply situation will improve in summer.

He said that Thar Matiari line built at a cost of 15 billion rupees has been completed, with which new 2000 megawatt electricity generated from Thar coal is being added to the system. Despite not getting the IMF program, the government is working diligently in all sectors.
