Punjab Minister for Livestock & Dairy Development Shahab-Ud-Din Khan says effective strategies are being adopted from prevention of lumpy skin and its control in animals.
He stated this while chairing a meeting in Lahore today.
Addressing the meeting, the Livestock Minister said a comprehensive plan should be free devised for prevention and combating lumpy skin.
He said we are taking measures to import the vaccine of lumpy skin while steps are being taken to produce homologous vaccine indegniouly.
He directed filed officials to aware people about this disease.
During the meeting, Secretary Livestock and Vice Chancellor University of Animals Science briefed the meeting on overall situation of lumpy skin disease.
