Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has given approval for upgradation of Lahore Zoo and Safari Park.
He gave approval while chairing a meeting in Lahore today.
He said that other facilities will also be increased in the Lahore Zoo and Safari Park and these will be upgraded as per international standards.
He directed to establish salt range, African zone and desert in Safari Park and said that night Safari will be started. He said that people will stay in special huts in urban Safari Park.
Mohsin Naqvi emphasized increasing the number of animals in the Safari Park.He said that 142 species of marine life will also be kept in the aquarium at the Safari Park and Lahore Zoo and cages will be made for animals as per international standards.
He directed to introduce e-ticketing system in Lahore Zoo and Safari Park.
