
Islamabad: According to Federal Bureau of Statistics, domestic exports in Pakistani currency have recorded an annual growth of 22.45% in the first 2 months of the current financial year.
According to the Bureau of Statistics, the volume of exports in July and August in local currency was recorded at 1276238 million rupees, which is 22.45% higher than the same period of the previous financial year. In the same period of the previous financial year, the volume of exports was recorded at 1042226 million rupees. During August, the volume of exports in local currency was recorded at 695136 million rupees, which is 26.75% more than last year’s August. In August last year, the volume of exports was recorded at Rs 548,440 million.
According to the Bureau of Statistics, the volume of exports was recorded at Rs 581,102 million in July, which increased to Rs 695,136 in August.
According to the statistics agency, netware exports in August were Rs 117,892 million, ready-made garments Rs 83,447 million, bedwear Rs 74,081 million, cotton garments Rs 47,002 million, cotton yarn Rs 30,793 million, towels Rs 25,567 million, rice Rs 18,073 million, basmati. Rice 16271 million rupees and the export volume of meat and meat products was recorded 11210 million rupees.
According to the statistics agency, in the first 2 months of the fiscal year, a decrease of 2.42 percent was recorded in the imports in Pakistani currency on an annual basis. The volume of exports in the local currency was recorded at 1,276,238 million rupees in April and August, which is compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year. It is 22.45% more. In the same period of the previous financial year, the volume of exports was recorded at 1042226 million rupees. During August, the volume of exports in local currency was recorded at 695136 million rupees, which is 26.75% more than last year’s August.
