A delegation of BS and MPhil students from Kinnaird College For Women University led by Prof. Myra Qudoos visited Pakistan Broadcasting House in Lahore today.
During the visit, the delegation visited various sections of the department including Newsroom, FM101 and FM94 sports channel.
On the occasion, the delegation was briefed about the working of Radio Pakistan Lahore.
The delegation applauded the remarkable services being provided by Radio Pakistan Lahore to the masses.
They termed their visit as fruitful with respect to learning the advanced broadcasting techniques.
The delegation evinced interest to visit Radio Pakistan in future as well to acquaint themselves with the latest media gadgets.The students said they have learnt a lot during the visit about the course titled “Advance Radio Production” being imparted to them at the college.
Meanwhile, the delegation also visited Associated Press of Pakistan office and observed the working there.
On this occasion, Chief Reporter APP Muhammad Abdullah briefed them about the scope and working of the APP.
The delegation also visited the various sections of the APP including the Reporting Room, News Room and VNS.
