Islamabad: Army Chief Asim Munir donated two and a half crore rupees to the families of the martyrs of Islamabad Police.
According to the sources, Islamabad Police spokesman issued a statement on Twitter and said that all the money donated will be distributed among the families of the martyrs.
The spokesperson said that letters have been sent to the relatives of the martyrs by the Islamabad Police.
We cannot repay the sacrifices of the martyrs. This humble offering will be presented to the heirs of the martyrs on the occasion of May 25 Martyrs Day of Pakistan.
Islamabad Police is grateful to Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir on behalf of its martyrs.
