Karachi: Another passenger who came to Karachi from abroad showed symptoms of monkey pox virus and was transferred to the isolation ward.
The passenger had arrived in Karachi through a foreign airline from Oman. The symptoms of monkey pox virus were found in the passenger who came from Jeddah to Karachi Airport, after which the passenger Khurram Shahzad was transferred to the isolation ward by the Ministry of Health.
In this regard, the spokesman of the health department said in his statement that small spots were found on the face of the passenger coming from Jeddah, the spot on the passenger’s face is similar to chicken pox.
Earlier, a Somali resident and two Pakistanis suffering from monkey pox virus were allowed to go home without confirmation of monkey pox.
