Punjab Minister for Forest Abbas Ali Shah visited Geographical Information Laboratory of Punjab Forest Department in Lahore today and observed drone technology used in lab.
The Minister was briefed about GIS measures and its performance.
Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the role of GIS Laboratory for keeping records of plantation and monitoring.
He directed to expand the monitoring of forest by using drone technology.
He also asked for detailed plantation report of previous and present government.
