A meeting was held in Lahore today with Punjab Minister for Forest and Wildlife Abbas Ali Shah in chair.
During the meeting, Minister lauded the efforts of Fisheries officers for timely completion of annual development schemes.
He directed to strengthen the task force against illegal fish hunting and asked to increase fish breeding.
The Minister directed the Forest & Wildlife and Fisheries Departments to jointly organise public awareness programmes.
He also directed to guide small fishermen for fish farming and public and business sector to be included in fish farming.
He advised to make better marketing of Trout Fish.
