The Spokesperson of Provincial Disaster Management Authority said round the clock monitoring is being done of flood hit areas.I
n a statement, he said water flow in River Ravi is as per routine and water level recorded at Jisr is 23000 cusecs and at Shahdira 19496 while water level at is Baloki at 24835 cusecs.
He informed that there is no threat of flood as India will not release more water. It was informed that rescue and relief operation is being continued with help of districts adminstration institutions and PDMA and all out resources are being utilized for evacuation of people.
The Spokesperson said PDMA is taking measures for protection of lives and properties of people.It was informed that three times meals is being provided in flood relief camps.
The spokesperson said that medication and other relevant facilities is being provided in relief camps.
