
Punjab Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique says shortage of doctors in government hospitals will be overcomes on priority basis.
He stated this while chairing a meeting in Lahore today.
The meeting reviewed development projects, provision of medicines to patients, universal health insurance and other important issues
Speaking on this occasion, Khawaja Salman Rafique said that Universal Health Insurance project is the brain child of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. He said government wants to facilitate more people of provincie through Universal Health Insurance. He said that Vascular surgery and specialities degree programmes will be initiated in medical institutions.
He also directed officials for cleanliness better arrangements in public hospitals.
On this occasion, Secretary Health Ali Jan Khan said situation of public hospitals are being monitored and expressed resolve to provide all-out facilities.
