Secretary Industries and Commerce Dr Ahmed Javed Qazi directed to ensure sale of essential items on fix rates.
He stated this while chairing a meeting at Civil Secretariat in Lahore today.
He also directed to implement action plan to control price hike and hoarding. He directed officers to remain in field for provision of relief to masses. He also asked to take stern action against those shopkeepers who do not display price list on proper place.
He directed to resolve complaints on price hike received on Qeemat App.
Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi directed officers to monitor demand and supply in markets to avoid hoarding.
