Secretary Election Commission Umar Hameed Khan has visited various polling station of provincial metropolis 158′ 167 and 168 polling stations and reviewed elections arrangements.
He also visited Control Room established at Home Economic College. He inquired about arrangements of elections and directed to resolve the complaints immediately.
A screen was also installed in college where results of four constituencies will be displayed.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Lahore Umar Sher Chatta briefed the Secretary Election Commission Umar Hameed Khan regarding elections arramgements and security measures.
He said district administration is completely cooperating with Election Commission of Pakistan for holding of free, fair and transparent elections.
Meanwhile, Civil Defense, Rescue 1132, Regional Transport Authority, Education and Revenue staff are also performing duties in by-elections.
