Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman says provision of quality education to people is prime priority of incumbent government.
He stated this during a meeting with Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal in Lahore today.
Matters of higher education, development projects and forthcoming budget were discussed during the meeting.
Speaking on this occasion, the Governor said that despite the difficult economic situation, announcement of increase in budget of higher education is a good omen. He said that higher education budget will be increased in forthcoming budget.
Planning Minister said measures are being taken for solution of people’s problems.
He said that training projects will be initiated for youth.
