In Lahore, anti-polio drive will start on 27th of this month and continue till 3rd of the next month.
More than two million children under five years of age will be administered anti-polio drops during the campaign. A total of 6360 teams will perform duty during this campaign.
A total of 381 fixed teams while 191 transit team will also participate in this anti-polio drive.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Lahore Umar Sher Chatta inaugurated anti polio campaign by administrating polio drops below the age of five years children at Mian Mir Hospital in Lahore today.
Speaking on this occasion, he appealed people to get their children vaccinated and cooperate with staff. He said district administration is fully active and functional for success of this drive. He said polio free Lahore is our mission.
