The delegation of trainee officers of Punjab Local Government Academy Lala Musa led by its Director General Punjab Local Government Academy Najeeb Aslam called on Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman at Governor House in Lahore today.
On this occasion, Director General Local Government Academy Najeeb Aslam briefed the Governor about Local Punjab Local Government Academy.
Speaking on this occasion, the Governor said local bodies is base of any democratic system. He said that PML-N government has taken measures for improvement in local bodies system. He informed that PML-N has increased representation of women in new local bodies system. He said representatives are empowered in real sense in new local bodies system as issues of people are resolve by empowering people’s representatives at grassroot level.
He said local government institutions play important role important role for solution of people’s problems and development of the country.
On this occasion, Punjab Local Government Academy Lala Musa apprised that training courses are aligned with current modern requirements and high quality training facilities are significantly improving departments performance.
