Punjab Chief Minister Chudhary Pervaiz Elahi directed concerned officials to complete healthcare project on fast track.
He stated this while chairing a meeting in Lahore.
He directed to complete mother and child block in Ganga Ram Hospital in Lahore during current month.
He also directed to do estimation for solarization system at hospitals. He directed to complete institute of child health through public private partnership. He said a 256 beds trauma center and emergency will be soon functional at Jinnah Hospital Lahore.He said that District Headquarters Hospital Gujranwala will be upgraded to a 500 beds teaching hospital while DHQ Sahiwal into 773 beds teaching hospital.
The meeting approved funds for construction and restoration of dental hospital at Jubilee Town Lahore. Fund was also approved for installation of latest machinery in oncology ward of Jinnah Hospital.
