
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Rameez Raja, cricketer Hassan Ali and cricketer Imam-ul-Haq visited Sundas foundation. Provincial minister Khawaja Salman Rafique along with entire team of Sundas Foundation welcomed all the guests. Cricketers visited various wards of Foundation and also distributed gifts among patients of thalassemia and hemophilia. Later on attended a simple ceremony in the honour of children of Thelasemia. addressing the, ceremony President Sundas foundation Yasin Khan thanked all the guests and said that all the children are very happy today that their real heroes are in front of them. Their lifeline is blood donation and hopefully, if the cricketers appeal to their fans to donate blood, it will inevitably save precious human lives. Many children today have fully recovered due to timely blood donation. Yaseen Khan further said that Sundas foundation is going to build a new hospital with 200 beds on a six-kanal site in Gulberg Lahore. He emphasized that bone marrow transplantation was a very expensive treatment in Pakistan and everyone could not afford it. The only solution is to get it tested before marriage. Provincial Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique said that he started health work with Shahbaz Sharif in 2012 and since then he has worked on many projects but there is still a lot to be done. He said, felt fortunate to work with Munu Bhai. He appealed to the cricketers to come forward for fund raising and to be among such children every month to boost their moral.Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Rameez Raja while expressing his views assured that entire team with their children and will be part of blood donation camps. The doctors here are truly serving the suffering humanity and will soon be visiting his foundation along with the entire Pakistani cricket team. He also announced Rs 1 million aid for children. a documentary of Sundas foundation was also part of the ceremony. Sadia, a thalassemia patient, also expressed her views and said that has been suffering from Thelasemia for the last 18 years and till date. The lives of many patients like me have been made easier by his foundation. At the end of the ceremony, well known social activist Khalid Abbas Dar thanked all the guests and expressed best wishes among cricket team. At the end of the ceremony, all the guests, especially Pakistani cricketers, posed for pictures with the children and gave their autographs.
