Punjab Minister for Schools Education Dr Murad Raas has inaugurated the Item Bank System jointly prepared by Punjab Examination Commission and School Education Department Punjab.
Speaking on the occasion, he said papers from class one to eight will be prepared through Item Bank System. He said now papers will be based on fifty percent multiple choice questions and fifty percent on comprehension. He said that this system will improve the learning of students.
He said that the system will be helpful for reviewing performance of teachers. He said that private sector will also get benefit from this Item Bank System.
The Minister said that corruption on approximately ten billion rupees has been eliminated through online system in SED Punjab. He said that now ACRs, leaves pension pay orders and retirement certificate is generated through online system.
He informed that pilot project of online retirement payment is being started from Lahore.
