Federal Ministry Human Rights in collaboration withChristian care Foundation organized a ceremony in connection with Fuji decoration of 7 Years at Peace center Lahore.
The event was hosted by Director Peace Center OP Father James, while Tanveer Yaqub, Chairman, Christian Care Foundation, Lubna Mansoor, Regional Director, Ministry of Human Rights, Dr. Patras Bahadur, Director, International Center for Adventist Muslim Relations, Allama Asghar Chishti, Reverend Dr. Majid Able and religious figures from various schools of thought were also present in the ceremony. In the ceremony, Special prayers for the development and prosperity of Pakistan were also offered while Dr Patras Bahadur told the participants that he has the unique honor of being the first Pakistani Christian having PHD in Islamic studies. He emphasized that the need to spread the message of peace around the world is much needed. He further said that promoting religious harmony should be among the top priorities of all of us. Father James discussed the Fuji Declaration, while scholars from various schools of thought expressed their views, said that Pakistan is the only state in the world where people of all faiths can worship freely. Lubna Mansoor appreciated the efforts of the Christian Care Foundation and hoped that similar events would be held in the future as well.
