In Lahore, a condolence sitting was held in memory of late writer Amjad Islam Amjad, under aegis of AlKhidmat Foundation Pakistan.
A number of people from different walks of the society, including President of AlKhidmat Foundation Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman, Vice Presidents Muhammad Abdul Shakoor, Ehsaan ullah Waqas and Zikarullah Mujahid, besides senior journalists and writers Sajjad Meer, Khalid Masood, Sohail Warraich, Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami, Amna Mufti amongst others, expressed their views in the event and paid tributes to his services for the field of art.
Paying rich tributes to the deceased poet, writer and drama writer, the President of the Foundation, Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman said that late Amjad Islam Amjad used to feel pain for humanity.
