Punjab Chief Minister Chudhary Pervaiz Elahi announced eight lakh rupees financial assistance for family of each deceased in flood hit areas of Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, Muzaffargarh and Mianwali.
He stated this while chairing a meeting in Lahore today.
The meeting reviewed the relief activities in flood hit areas.
Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister directed all relevant departments to speed up relief activities in integrated manner. he directed elected representatives, Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners to monitor relief activities and present the report. He also directed to help the affectees after the estimation of loss of cattles, crops and houses.
He also directed to establish medical camps in flood areas and vaccinate the people of contiguous diseases.
