The Chinese delegation met Secretary Forest retired Captain Zafar Iqbal at his office in Lahore today.
Matter of mutual interest and various joint projects were discussed during the meeting. The meetings discuss various proposals for further development of forest, tree planting and wildlife monitoring system.
They agreed to do development schemes and projects with Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and with the cooperation of FAO land areas projects will be initiated in forest areas. They agreed for plantation of eco friendly plants and upgradation of forest rest house and forest parks.
The Secretary Forest and the Chinese delegation also agreed on joint initiatives for future forest development.
