The Caretaker Provincial Minister of Information and Culture, Aamir Mir visited Lahore Arts Council Alhamra in Lahore today.
Executive Director of Lahore Arts Council Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi welcomed the Provincial Minister of Culture.
The Provincial Minister of Culture was briefed about the history, mission, services and performance of Alhamra.
Speaking on the occasion the Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Aamir Mir directed to solve the problems faced by the artist community on a priority basis. He said he would make a workable policy for developing literature and culture in consultation with senior artists.
The caretaker Provincial Minister was informed about the services of the teachers at Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts and informed that hundreds of students are receiving training from this academy.The Minister appreciated the services of artists and termed them assets of country.
