Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman felicitated newly elected representatives of Punjab Assembly Press Gallery President Akhlaq Bajwa and Secretary Hassaan Ahmad.
In a statement, the Governor said that role of press gallery and journalists are important in parliamentary reporting. He said journalists role are examplary for positive critique on government and opposition for identification of issues.
He hoped that newly elected President and Secretary will play their due role from the platform of media for promotion of democratic traditions and to strengthen democracy.
