Provincial Minister of Agriculture Syed Hussain Jahanian Gurdaizi visited control room established in DC office of Khanewal to inspect security arrangements in connection with Ashura. He appreciated the arrangements of District Administration. DPO Khanewal told the provincial minister during the briefing that fool-proof security was being provided to the mourning processions and assemblies of 10 Muharram across the district. Cleanliness and night lighting arrangements had been ensured on the routes of all the processions. DC Khanewal said that Khanewal is a peaceful district while the aim of all was to promote brotherhood and religious harmony for sustainable peace in the district. He further briefed that CCTV cameras had been installed on the routes. The provincial minister expressed full satisfaction over the arrangements made by the district administration and police.
