7th Alkhidmat Youth Gathering held in Awain-e-Iqbal today

The 7th Alkhidmat Youth Gathering was held in Awain-e-Iqbal in Lahore today organised under the aegis of Alkhidmat Foundation.

Over two thousand students from more than twenty universities of the country took part in the event.

Various motivational sessions on training and capacity building of youth, start-ups, information technology and climate change were held in the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Speaker Liaquat Baloch said that youth are the asset of the country. He said that Pakistan is blessed with young population who can contribute positively for the progress and development of the country.

He said that the prime objective of the event is to unite the youth volunteer, who want to serve the alling humanity voluntary, on a single platform.

On this occasion, Mrs Perveen Abdul Tawwab Khan was awarded Naimat Ullah Award to acknowledge the volunteer work for humanity.
