The 71st Governing Body was held under the chairmanship of Alhamra Qasim Ali Shah in Lahore today. It was the first meeting of the newly formed board meeting.
Executive Director Alhamra Nazia Jabeen informed the meeting about the institution’s history, aims and objectives, mission, services, and future action plan.
She said that the Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts, Alhamra Museum, Alhamra Archives, and Alhamra Adbi Bethak are important areas where further improvement should be taken.
Chairman BOG Alhamra Qasim Ali Shah said that I am lucky that I got the opportunity to work in this position.
He said that this position is not a governing position, it is a serving seat, and that’s why the welfare of Alhamra employees is a part of our priorities.
Shah further said that Program “Janiyey Alhamra Ko is achieving its goals.
