
Chairman Ministerial Disaster Management Committee and Punjab Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Muhammad Basharat Raja says thirty thousand camps have been provided to the flood hit areas.
He stated this while chairing a meeting of
Ministerial Disaster Management Committee in Lahore today.
Chairman Ministerial Disaster Management Committee Raja Muhammad Basharat said there is also threat of flood in River Sindh.
In this regard, he directed the concerned adminstration to remain alert.
He also directed to avoid shortage of food in any areas while ensure appropriate arrangements of food for animals.
During the meeting, Senior Member Board of Revenue and Chief Secretary Punjab briefed the meeting about their visits of flood hit areas.
The meeting was informed that Punjab Government has provided two helicopter for relief activities which has started relief activities from today.
Ministerial Disaster Management Committee also decided to brief the media on relief measures.
The Secretary Information was directed for arranging visit of media in the affected areas.
