2nd consignment of ten trucks dispatched for flood affectees, with cooperation of LIHS: Baligh ur Rehman

Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman says second consignment of ten trucks has been dispatched for flood affectees, with cooperation of Lahore Institute of Health Sciences (LIHS).

Talking to newsmen in Lahore this afternoon, he said that each disptached truck is laden with five hundred relief goods bags. He said this consignment is sufficient for five thousand families.

He commended the cooperate social responsibility work of LIHS for despatching relief goods for flood affectees. He lauded the work of LIHS feeding meal to thirty thousand people in Lahore on daily basis. He said this is the time to serve humanity in need.

He said federal government is distributing ration with the help of National Disaster Management Authority.

Answering a question, the Governor regretted that one person is spreading chaos and anarchy when people is facing this catastrophe.

On this occasion, Secretary General of Muslim World League, Dr Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa lauded  Punjab Governor’work for helping the flood affectees. He also prayed for flood affectees.
