The Punjab government has imposed Section 144 in Mianwali for seven days.
According to a notification issued by the Punjab Home Department, all political gatherings, sit-ins, rallies, protests, and similar activities have been banned in Mianwali from Tuesday, October 1, to Monday, October 7 (Monday).
Similarly, the Punjab government has decided to deploy Rangers in Mianwali on the recommendation of the district administration.
According to the request sent to the Federal Interior Ministry, two companies of Rangers will be deployed in Mianwali from October 1 to October 3.
The decision to impose Section 144 in Mianwali was made to maintain law and order and to protect human lives and property.
According to the notification from the Punjab Home Department, the restrictions were imposed due to the threat of terrorism in Mianwali.
