Family of AJK man who inadvertently crossed LoC seeks his return

MUZAFFARABAD: Relatives of an occupant of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), who coincidentally went too far of Control (LoC), on Sunday engaged common and military experts in Pakistan to go to pressing lengths for his bringing home, expecting that Indian powers could hurt him by erroneously marking him an aggressor.

Hassam Shahzad, who purportedly experiences a psychological maladjustment, had gone into a house situated close the vigorously mobilized LoC in the Tetrinote area of Poonch region on Saturday evening.

Frightened by the presence of a more odd, ladies from neighboring houses caused an upheaval, making the 30-year-old frenzy and escape. In his disarray, he unintentionally crossed the plain boundary and wound up in Indian-held domain, where he was captured by security work force.

Mr Iqbal said Hassam had been battling with private matters and had recently gone through treatment at a recovery community in Mirpur, however had not completely recuperated.

“Today, somebody informed me [… ] Hassam is currently in involved Kashmir. Given his physical and mental state [… ] I trust that as opposed to heading back, he overreacted and escaped towards the LoC, crossing into the opposite side,” said Mr Iqbal.

When reached, Poonch Dep­uty Chief Syed Mum­taz Kazmi said they had sent a report with respect to the unintentional intersection to the higher specialists and were confident of proper activity on their part at the earliest.
