Chief Minister’s Focal Person on polio Uzma Kardar inaugurated the anti-polio campaign at Sabzazar in Lahore today by administering polio drops to children.
While speaking on the occasion, Uzma Kardar said that the campaign will continue in major districts, including Lahore, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad, until September 15 while in other districts, it will run until September 13.
She emphasized that eradicating polio is a top priority.
She said that she will personally visit the priority populations.
She appealed to parents to fully cooperate with the polio teams.
According to details, 2.2 million children in Lahore will be administrated polio drops while over 14,000 polio workers have been deployed on polio duty.
