Engineering is critically important for country’s dev: Ahsan Iqbal

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that the field of engineering is critically important for the country’s development.

Addressing a ceremony at University  of Central Punjab in Lahore today, he said that Pakistani engineers have played a significant role in the nation’s construction and development and that the development of the country’s infrastructure is impossible without civil engineers.

He emphasized that civil engineers are indispensable for infrastructure development and highlighted their key contribution to Pakistan’s nuclear program.

He said that Pakistan is the fifth most populous country in the world.

Furthermore, he stressed the necessity of addressing the challenges posed by population growth and climate change.

He said  that the country’s security now depends on the strength of its economy.

Ahsan Iqbal said that the future can be built through hard work rather than the spread of lies on social media.

He said that Pakistan has made immense progress since its establishment. 

He said that now we need to accelerate the pace of the country’s development for the progress and development of the country.
