Easypaisa Facilitates PKR 310 million in Donations, Amplifying Pakistan’s Commitment Towards Charity

Easypaisa continues its commitment to societal welfare, processing an impressive 310 million in donations through its platform as of 30th September 2024, including a significant contribution of PKR 91 million during the holy month of Ramadan. With a deep-rooted belief in the power of collective action, easypaisa contributed PKR 4.5 million, equating to PKR 1 for every PKR 20 donated by customers through the app, amplifying the impact of each contribution during Ramadan.


These donations were distributed to reputable charitable organizations such as Shaukat Khanum, Edhi Foundation, Al Khidmat Foundation, Maulana Tariq Jameel Foundation, and the Akhuwat Foundation. The funds made a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
With more than 50 listed donation partners on the platform, easypaisa’s initiative resulted in a 75% year-over-year increase in donations collected, with more than 268,000 transactions performed. Additionally, there was a 74% rise in unique users donating through the app, leading to a 51% increase in transactions in Ramzan 2024 compared to Ramzan 2023.
