Punjab Minister for Law, Communication & Works,Sohaib Bharath says e-tendering is a significant success, and the Chief Minister’s dream has been fulfilled.
Talking to newsmen in Lahore today, he said that transparency has been introduced in the the system of Communication and Works Department.
He said that for the first time, effective measures have been taken to ensure transparency in the tendering system.
He said that a corruption-free system is the dream of the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz and digitization has closed the path for giving contracts to favored individuals.
He emphasized this success does not belong to the PML-N but is an achievement for all of Punjab.He said that now without anyone’s recommendation or influence, tenders can be filled under PPRA rules.
The Punjab Minister said that through e-tendering, billions of rupees have been saved in contract allocations.
