A high-level delegation from Thailand, including the Thai Ambassador in Islamabad, officials from Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Culture, and the Executive Director of the National Museum of Thailand, visited the Taxila Museum and Dharmarajika Stupa today.
Mr. Anjum Dara, Deputy Director of Archaeology, and Ms. Hummara Naz, Curator of the Taxila Museum, warmly welcomed the delegation and provided them with a briefing.
The delegation praised the excellent maintenance of the Dharmarajika Stupa by the Directorate General of Archaeology Punjab. They also commended the Directorate’s hospitality towards visitors and its efforts in preserving the rich cultural heritage of the region.
