COTHM College Johar Town organized a spectacular event to celebrate World Tourism Day, featuring the esteemed presence of Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora and Commander of the Anti-Narcotics Force Punjab Brigadier Sikandar Hayat Chaudhry as special guests.
The event was presided over by Executive Director Mian Shahid Mahmood, and a large number of students actively participated.
In his address, Minister Ramesh Singh Arora remarked, “The international recognition of COTHM College is a matter of pride for all of us, and their services in promoting tourism in Pakistan are commendable.”
He further stated that efforts are underway to empower the youth in line with the vision of Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and that all possible resources are being utilized to enhance tourism in the province.
He emphasized that Punjab’s regions are unparalleled, and there is no doubt that Punjab’s historical, cultural, and natural heritage attracts tourists from around the world.
Brigadier Sikandar Hayat welcomed the increasing participation of youth, especially women, in professional courses, stating, ” COTHM College’s provision of skills education will help keep the younger generation safe from drug addiction.”
He also highlighted that “without peace, we cannot promote tourism in any region.”Notable business figure Imran Ijaz, Drug Campaign Consultant Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Admission Officer Mian Zain Shahid, Operations Manager Zahid Chaudhry, and General Manager Abdul Qadeer were also present at the event.
