Islamabad: The government has decided to increase gas prices for fertilizer factories from this month on IMF terms.
According to sources, the price of gas for fertilizer factories will be increased from Rs. 302 to Rs. 580 MMB to U.
For feedstock, fertilizer manufacturers will get UGS at Rs 1580 per mmbt.
Sources say that fertilizer for feed stock will cost Rs 556 per mmbtu of UGS for fertilizer manufacturers.
Sources say that the Ministry of Finance, Petroleum and Industry and Production has started work to make gas more expensive for fertilizer manufacturers. The price hike for fertilizer manufacturers will come before the IMF economic review.
On the other hand, after the decrease in the prices of petroleum products at the global level, the prices of petrol and diesel are likely to decrease in Pakistan from October 16. The prices of petroleum products at the global level have now decreased by 7 dollars per barrel. On Thursday, the price of crude oil in the Gulf market has reached 92 dollars and 84 dollars in the world market. According to this rate, the price of petrol in Pakistan is reduced by 22 rupees. The current price of diesel is also reduced by more than 20 rupees. Crude oil prices fell another 2 percent in the global market. If this trend continues in the global market, there may be a clear decrease in the price per liter in Pakistan. It should be clear that after the decrease in the prices of petroleum products at the global level, the prices of petrol and diesel are likely to decrease in Pakistan from October 16.
