Annual General Assembly Meeting at Naulakha Presbyterian Church


The 32nd Annual General Assembly meeting was held at Naulakha Presbyterian Church of Pakistan in Lahore, in which Arif Siraj was unanimously elected as Moderator, Javed Gul as Co-Moderator and Dr. Majeed Abel as Executive Secretary of the General Assembly.

Ex-Senator Kamran Michael specially attended the ceremony while former Rector FC College, Reverend James Hattie was also present at the ceremony.

Senator Kamran Michael congratulated the newly elected office bearers and said that he feels proud that the services of Presbyterian medical and educational institutions are exceptional. He expressed the hope that the newly elected office bearers will promote mutual brotherhood and love.

Addressing the ceremony, Chairman of the Kul masalic board Molana Asim Makhdoom said that platform of No Lakha church always used for the promotion of interfaith and brotherhood. He also prayed for the development and prosperity of Pakistan, also prayed for the end of the fire in California. Dr. Majeed Abel said that the role of the pastor has been very good and such events can overcome mutual differences. He paid tribute to the services of all the Presbyterian moderators and prayed for the end of the war between Israel and Palestine, also the establishment of peace in the world and the development and prosperity of Pakistan. Agha Sagheer Abbas Wirk, Kamran Pervez Chaudhry, Allama Qari Khalid Mahmood, Presbyterian moderators and a large number of church members also attended the ceremony.
