Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman says business community is the backbone of the country that is playing pivotal role in country’s economy.
He stated this during a meeting with delegation of Vehari Chambers of Commerce and Industryled by its President Sheikh Muhammad Naeem Pasha at Governor House in Lahore today.
The delegation apprised the Governor about issue being faced by Vehari Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Speaking on this occasion, the Governor said government believes in practical steps and will resolve issues of business community.
He assured the delegation that he will convey their issues to government.
He said despite economic challenges incumbent government presented a balanced budget.
The delegation lauded the government step to obsolete the sale tax on seeds.
