Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has said taht that it is crucial to raise awareness about the importance of polio vaccination campaigns among children under five years old to eradicate polio.
He expressed these views while attending a polio awareness seminar as the chief guest, organized by Rotary Club Lahore City in collaboration with the Government of Pakistan at the Governor House in Lahore today.
He praised the welfare activities of the Rotary Club Lahore City and their role in making the polio vaccination campaign successful, particularly appreciating their awareness efforts.
The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of eradicating polio from Pakistan.Speakers at the seminar shed light on government initiatives and reaffirmed the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating polio.
The seminar witnessed the enthusiastic participation of individuals from various walks of life and members of the Rotary Club of Lahore City.
The President of the Rotary Club of Lahore City Bilal Ahmed Awan and Polio Plus Chair Maria Toqeer Khan also attended the seminar.
On this occasion, the participants also took part in a polio awareness walk.
