Punjab Health Minister Kh Imran Nazir paid surprise visit to the DHQ hospital Chkwal to review the medical facilities being extended to the patients.
He announced the provision of angiography facility for cardiac patients in the hospital. The minister health reviewed the performance of the healthcare system and other administrative issues in detail.
He inspected emergency and paeds wards and CT Scan machine and pharmacy, besides checking stock of medicines. Kh Imran Nazir went to see the patients and asked about the facilities for their treatment.
Talking to the media, the Provincial Health Minister said that according to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, all health facilities will be provided in the District Hospitals so that people do not have to go to other cities for treatment. Today’s visit is short, but I will spend the whole day here next week and announce the complete health package for Chakwal District, he added.
Chief Minister will provide all health facilities to the people of the province of Punjab. “We are going to take practical steps for the establishment of DHQ Chakwal phase two,” he added. The minister further said that during the previous government period, the people here held big positions but they did nothing. The people in these big positions also took funds unaccounted for, but may be their priorities were something else.
He said that the government is taking practical steps to solve public health problems in all the districts of the province. Kh Imran Nazir while appreciating the efforts of Deputy Commissioner Chakwal Quratul Ain Malik for the prevention of polio case surfaced in Chakwal but timely measures taken by the management, the child affected by polio is now completely healthy and is playing football.
