A three-day International Iqbal Conference titled “Iqbal Studies Abroad,” under the aegis of the Iqbal Academy Pakistan is started at Aiwan-e-Iqbal in Lahore today.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiqi said that Allama Iqbal’s voice transcends the boundaries of race, color, and geography, resonating across the world.
He further said that the Iqbal Academy is working tirelessly to promote Iqbal’s thought at both national and international levels, describing the institution as the custodian of Allama Iqbal’s intellectual legacy.
It is pertinent to mention that scholars from around the world, including Afghanistan, Egypt, Iran, Kuwait, China, Tajikistan, and the United Kingdom, are participating in this international event.
More than seventy-five Iqbal scholars will present their theses during various sessions of the three-day conference.
