On the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the first batch of medicines has been dispatched to Parachinar.
Punjab Minister for Health and Emergency Services Khawaja Salman Rafique said that the arrangement of medicines was carried out under the supervision of Provincial Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare Khawaja Imran Nazir, while the Punjab Emergency Services Department has specially dispatched an air ambulance.
He said that the Punjab government is providing all possible assistance to the people of Parachinar during this difficult time and the special air ambulance service of the Punjab government will soon reach Parachinar with medicines.
He said that the air ambulance service is delivering life-saving medicines to Parachinar and patients requiring better treatment will be transferred from Parachinar to Rawalpindi through the air ambulance.
He said that the transfer of patients from Parachinar to other government hospitals is being monitored personally by the Secretary of the Punjab Emergency Services Department, Dr. Rizwan Naseer.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare Khawaja Imran Nazir stated that in the first phase, medicines worth over three hundred thousand rupees have been dispatched to Parachinar.
